Relay Team Coaches
- Review all General Information about the tournament.
- Commit to being a Relay Team Coach. It's great fun and very rewarding!
- Form your Relay Team (no less than 4, no more than 5). Work with your child and PE Teacher/Sport Stacking Instructor to identify team members. (Relay Teams must field a complete roster of 4 Stackers to compete. Teams with less than 4 Stackers will be disqualified. Teams of 5 are allowed as a way of assuring participation in case a team member is absent, but only 4 members may compete in any given race. )
- Work with your Relay Team to choose a fun and positive team name and create a team t-shirt/uniform (optional).
- Help your Stackers to form their Age Division Doubles Teams. (Note: Although Doubles partners typically come from the same Relay Team, they don’t have to.)
- Contact the Parents of your team members to confirm their child's participation, encourage to form a Child/Parent Doubles Team (at no extra cost) and instruct them to register (online recommended).
- Identify another Parent to volunteer (optional) thus taking advantage of the Relay Team Volunteer Reimbursement Program. (optional) Instruct them to register as a Volunteer, and to be sure they identify your Relay Team. You will collect the reimbursement at the tournament on Saturday once their volunteering has been verified, and distributed at your discretion. (One reimbursement per team.)
- Register your Relay Team - either online or with this Paper Registration Form. (Indicate your designated Volunteer, if applicable.)
- Note: If one or more of your team members is unable to register online, you can do this for them with their parent's approval. To help you, simply have them download, complete, and give you their Individual/Doubles Registration Form and fee. If no one on your team is registering online then collect all of their forms and fees and give them to your PE Teacher/Sport Stacking Instructor. (Note deadlines.)
- Coordinate practices for your Relay Team. Check with your PE Teacher/Sport Stacking Instructor to see if they are providing some practice times at your School/Club/Organization.
